Shopping List

Coupon Chief makes it easy for me
To find all the things on the list that you see
All of the bounty which is listed below
Just for my loved ones, wrapped with a bow

My youngest godson is an Old Navy fan
It happens to be his favorite brand
And since it looks so good on him
I’ll see what I can find there to cover his skin
And, after taking a little time to think
I am just about there on the brink
Of settling on Old Navy coupons for all the kids
The lot of ‘em under those threads to be hid

For my dad I had Apple deals in mind
But I am concerned with that ’cause he’s the kind
Who will probably take a look at the Macbook I’ve got
And go and buy his own, likely as not

So for Dad, and for Mom as well
It is, as ever, kind of hard to tell
This early in the calendar year
Just what sort of sounds we’ll hear
When they open the gifts that are from me
Because I don’t know yet just what they’ll be

Same goes, it seems, for my sisters too
And for my brother-in-law, it’s nothing new
For me to start in August to scratch my head
Worrying over it late at night in bed
Thinking about what gifts I might buy
To make them shout happily “Oh my!”

But one way or another, I’ve a pretty good feel
That I will manage to find a really good deal
On each gift I buy (I may feel like  a thief)
When I go to shop at Coupon Chief
