New CD
Whenever I get a new CD
The Beatles, The Police or whatever it be
I just can’t wait to open it and see
What new sounds it holds for me
A download doesn’t quite hold that charm
Though the convenience doesn’t do any harm
And you really won’t have to twist my arm
For a technology that’s so cool it’s warm
But still, old fashioned folks like yours truly
Might not get the same feeling from an mp3
That they get when opening a brand new CD
Or an album, which is now just a memory
